And the king was blinded as the fires spread
We cannot breathe as we face the end

A better world has come and gone
The battle lines so simply drawn
As progress kills the natural world
There comes a point of no return
The little things begin to decay
The little things that we lost today
As we fade away into the dust
The natural world will learn to adjust
And soI told the king that all of the trees were dead
But by then the Queen had changed her mind
And wanted to save the world instead

And now I know that there's no where left to hide
For 200 years I watched in silence
AS the coral crept up around me, and the ocean floor concealed me
They called me Leviathan
The accused me of devouring the Spanish Armada
I listened to the tales of grief and of absence
I heard the cries of the living and the dead
They blamed me for what they did not want to see
They ignored what they did not understand
As I traverse the growing waves
The lands wash away before my eyes
I am not a nightmare
I am something that you don't understand
