It's not my choice, it's not my freedom Don't take my voice underground Once upon a time, in a land not far away We the chance to change our minds We had the time to play You could choose red, and maybe I could take blue We would trade them back and forth at will We would eve share them too I can't believe this is the end And here I grieve, nigh, spellbound The world has shifted, and fallen on its side Afraid to walk outside our homes Afraid of what we'll find So many choices disappear inside a broken year So many people turn away no matter what they hear It's not my choice, it's not my freedom Don't take my voice underground I can't believe this is the end And here I grieve, nigh, spellbound We held the future in our hands, and maybe it will last The challenges that we face today are different from the past I stand outside the windows to break the status quo It's a simple passionate request to, please, fulfill before I go It is my choice, it is my freedom I'll raise my voice to hear the sound Please give to me what I require My border run, my battleground

The trees in the night cover up all our shame Descend through the air like a moth to a flame The sky fades away as I take all the blame For the poison you spread as you staked your claim How can I breathe through all of this pain? Filled to the brim with all this disdain? Where can we go to escape all we made? Afraid to being to clean up all our sins The dust that we breathe begins to degrade The life that we saved that's submerged in the waves The trees hold the key, or so I've been told The stories of old lead us back to the light The clouds dissipate and reveal all the blight We have to take back what we can in Sunlight How can I breathe? The toxins expand How can I see when the air turns to sand How can I breathe if I don't take a stand? The soot fills the air and covers the land Where can we go if we don't look ahead? The life that we know will continue to spread But not in the way that we thought it would be It turns to the side in a way we can't see It breaks down the walls and we are the debris It takes what we shred and continues to breathe

A bleak and sterile room with eyes to bid my time Alone, and not alone. A vacant pantomime I remember a field and a stream and a haunting white light I could float above trees in a dream in the darkest of night And the wind cut a path like a beam at a frightening height And my eyes formed a taciturn scream This isn't real. No. It's not real I wonder if they know. Do they miss me down below? Has this become my home? Not another chance to roam Can the stars take the place of sand underneath the Moonlight? Now there's ether instead of the land, a bewildering sight And then something soft touches my hand and a gentle invite And it hopes I can now understand This is real. Can't you feel it? Time to reveal the dream I have for you I am home. I am human. All I am I will reveal to you

Familiar 04:15
Alone, on the edge of a knife, I feed upon the coming dawn A stone tied around my neck, I guess I'm just another broken pawn I dance to someone else's drum, another puppet and a set of strings A chance to break out on my own, even when the lonely caged bird sings And should I find a path away from you, I'll run The Sun and the Moon and the stars may be yours, but to me, you are oblivion Tick tock, the pace of the clock has me living like the walking dead I'll talk to the Ferryman as I descend through the riverbed The days I spend in your kingdom are soon coming to an end The nights that I almost succumb are the days that I can transcend When I find the path that leads me back to you I'll take apart everything you have and feed it to you, one by one

Where should I go to take you away? And who should I be to save you today? The world spins alone, or so we've been told A Goldilocks Zone, a sight to behold They came from afar to hide underground With lightning they strike at all they have found We're upside down How can we skirt this battleground? Why are they here infecting our lives? How can we thrive when our worlds collide? The top minds on Earth will now analyze The prime course to take to see the Sunrise We hide underground so they can not see The lives we are saving for you and for me How can we keep this colony from adversity? And if I should fall while saving the day I'll rise up again and enter the fray The world is alive, defending itself We're along for the ride, a journey through Hell The toxins down here will save most of us The world is alive and most treacherous And now that we know the we're not alone We know more will come for our Goldilocks Zone Without a chaperone The streets are overgrown with the seeds they've sown They broke my telephone and now I am all alone I'll face this milestone and enter the Unknown

Soul Jam 3 04:32
Baby, I wonder if you'll fall beneath me Maybe, I wonder if you'll break my heart Over and under, to another galaxy Maybe I'll tear you apart Is there any reason that you roll your eyes at me? Any other reason then I foiled your start? In another season you'll claim my blasphemy And I'll take you apart After I change my ways, will you take a swing at me? Every other stranger says you'll steal my art Maybe I'll arrange a stay in a sanctuary As your cool counterpart Is there a trap door to escape your fantasy? As a conspirator, I'm all about the nines Maybe I'll explore a new mythology So the stars can align When they come after me, and they will come after me Tell them you don't know me, and you'll be fine They'll never catch me, I spread my anarchy And my stars will outshine Baby, there's nothing that you haven't said to me Maybe there's a reason I stole your heart Over and back again, to another galaxy Now it's time to depart

Cellar dweller, fortune teller, candy coated corner of my brain City feller, and interstellar, a chance to save an ordinary reign Circumstance arise and waste a tribal dance on a frozen refrain At first glance, extravagance, break it down again and again Super soaker, freaky toker, a carousel to treat the insane Diamond choker, a pawn-broker, and dynamite to light the propane Rearrange the terms and take control again- celebration times ten Is it strange to be deranged? A human hurricane

The roads I walk, I walk alone Into the dark and the unknown The landscape paints a monotone And for my life, I will atone The kingdoms fall, they're overthrown The seas will boil and turn to stone The roads will split, the Moon has shown Into the day, I'll walk alone The cities fade, they're overgrown The groves return, a cornerstone I can't take back the seeds I've sown And so today I walk alone Time turned into a grindstone It wears away all that I've know It tans my skin and dries my bones And still I'm forced to walk alone The roads I walk, I walk alone Into the dark and the unknown The landscape paints a monotone And for my life, I will atone

It towers above you to take away your throne The shadow reminds you of every wrong you need to atone And the fire beneath your feet, well it fails to keep you warm Do you tire of trying to keep your failures hidden from the coming storm? The ramparts are broken and the walls have turned to dust The Sisters have spoken as your eyes begin to rust There are no answer here until you turn your mind within The dungeons will fade away when you answer for your sins Your kingdom is empty, not a soul has left a trace The Realm has turned on you as you forge your fall from grace The Gloaming has faded as the dusk turns into night The memory of you will wane in the glow of the Moonlight

Lightspeed 03:56
How do I identify the one who knows the way to go Under the Sun and dirty Moon? Is there something I can do for you? Clarify a simple truth, that will do Double down on a plan to deny that we ever saw the signs to Berlin As we hide in the shade from the ones who made us Farewell to the kings that bind us A requiem for the fools that find us Run when we can and we hide when the stalkers get too near And we'll fear that the hounds catch a scent when we are spent And we're hiding underground, hidden lair in Bucharest Dissidents who will test the established order Are you able to believe in me? Take a chance on something new, symmetry Take the path on the left of the old oak tree, and we'll find amnesty As we run through the shade from the ones who made us Farewell to the kings that bind us A requiem for the fools who find us

Holy Avatar 03:11
Would you fall into another one of my charms? Could I crawl into the alluring strength of your arms? Should we take the time to dance around the world? We could prove to them that our time in curved Here on Earth, you only get the one chance You can walk the walk and maybe enter in a trance There are devils here trying to find some romance They're only angels who have finally learned to dance Would you like to drink the stars? I could take you to an Otherworldly bizaar We could float away and see the Earth from afar Angels dance in place as demons jam on guitars There are humans here that never get what they deserve You aren't failing life, you're just behind the curve Instead of falling down over who you should serve Learn to live your life before it takes a turn I know where Heaven keeps all the best caviar And you know Hell has all the great bars Somewhere in between, a vintage motorcar We can have a drink and maybe play the sitar Dimestore passages make up our repertoire Lead the sheep away with a broken seminar Fill their heads with glee, a Holy Avatar Nothing changes here, let's find a new sandbar

Lorraine 01:50
If you run into Lorraine Please ask her to explain Why she broke my heart in two Why she took her love from me Remains a mystery I don't know what to do Was she sad? Was she mad? Or maybe I was just a passing fad? Does she know? Does she care? I swear it's not about my underwear When I look into the sky I begin to wonder why She left without saying adieu If you run into Lorraine Please ask her to explain What the hell I'm supposed to do

So, I woke up at 3am, and started walking down the street. Why I had slept in the street was beyond me, but, there you go. It was dark. It was cold. And I was sweating. As I ambled my way down the street, I came across a man, talking, to a wall. Now, the wall didn't have much to say in return, but what it did say was intriguing. It said: "Don't be surprised if you get tripped up by a crack under your feet." And before I fell, I looked down and noticed that the crack was in the wall. When I opened my eyes, all I could see was green. Well, green and brown. And then a flash of light blue. I could smell salads and bark, dank and woody and peanuts. And salt too. I was in a bush. I tried to blink the haze out of my head, as a distant crescendo of waves, crashing against sand, whispered in my ear. Big waves. And in between, silence. I look inwards and hear wind, feel it pushing against my entire body. I see flashes of blue and white and something extraordinarily large rushing at me. Something green. The images stop and there is nothing. I crawl towards the crashing of waves. My eyes are starting to focus, which only helps me realize that the plant-life is thinning out, and the dirt is turning into an orange and gritty sand. Using a dead branch as a crutch, I struggle to my feet. Behind me, the forest is silent. I trudge towards a widening blue sky, and beneath it, a bluer sea. Something floats across my line of sight, something out over the water, and there is a brilliant explosion of color and light. And then darkness.

Parasite 03:28
I walk the road at night Between the dark and light I'm not a parasite I seek the afterlife As long as I run to you I can throw away my anger and fear As far as I ever knew You'd find a way to disappear You hide in the twilight Holding a Holy Knife To stay my appetite You'd never be my wife As long as you hide away I'll thrive upon your anger and fear The light breaks a brand new day And burns away my new frontier As long as my memory serves You'd run and you'd hide and you'd play cavalier I hide my humanity It tangles and writhes and is most insincere I walk the road at night Between the dark and light I'm not a parasite I seek the afterlife

Walking 03:06
Hush. I'll be fine. It's not like yesterday Don't cry for me. Don't raise your hands and wonder why? I can wander through the world and never find a resting place And that should save the day Don't look for me in the rain Don't try to understand Hello. I will be with you, hidden in your mind Don't look for me, I can look out through your eyes I will keep you company with a smile and a thought I will help you find your way I am standing in the rain I am drifting through the stars with you

SoulJam2 04:38
Would you like to go for a ride? I can show you something new Something out of the blue Would you like to see me fly? Would you like to see me try? And fail? I can take you places you've never seen Eat exotic cuisine Watch a waterfall of indigo from a quaint bungalow Take this heart of gold into the stars Look for something bizarre, an absurdity Should we ask our friends to tag along? Maybe they can encourage us There's a lot of chaos to inspire- the galaxy is on fire There are infinite improbabilities Can we take one home? Maybe. Wait and see Was it home we were looking for? Look who just washed ashore Find escape in something familiar, history to secure There are places that we've never been to Here at home, let's take a chance and see
